Abstract

This article concerns the criticism of the imitative capitalism of the developing countries that constitute the periphery of the world economy, in contrast to the innovative capitalism of the industrial centers. Although it has been repeated with understandable insistence that the economic disparities between the North and the South have been growing instead of narrowing, the truth is that the same has also happened in the peripheral countries. We maintain that these serious internal disparities cannot be corrected even if the countries of the North decide to initiate the implementation of the measures leading to a New International Economic Order. This since it is also essential to establish a new internal economic order in developing countries inspired by a clear social sense.
