Abstract
This dossier seeks to contribute to the sociological and social science debate on the problem of care in contemporary societies, addressing various analytical entries. Through reflections and empirical research, a diversity of topics are explored, which account for the heterogeneity of phenomena analyzed from the complex framework of care. This challenges us to reflect on the limits and relevance of using the concepts associated with this field, in the diversity of problems it seeks to address. And it is that the breadth of this perspective gives an account of the centrality of care in the social world and the renewal of the problem of social bond (Brugère, 2022), questioning individual success as an axis of society. In this context, this dossier seeks to contribute with the presentation of research that gives an account of the various scenarios in which human interdependence unfolds, as well as the unequal conditions in which care practices are developed, seeking to make visible, value and deepen a critical look at these experiences.References
